Other &apos;quick dry&apos; towels that we&apos;ve used in the past haven&apos;t been so effective. They tend to have quite a rough texture and feel horrible on any patches of dry skin. Then when you try to dry yourself down, the towel becomes slimy. Ew. That&apos;s why we&apos;ve come in to completely change the game.Our towels feel totally different to what you might expect from a Quick Dry. In fact, we even get customers emailing in saying they aren&apos;t sure of the soft, smooth material and whether it&apos;ll be effective. We always reply with &apos;use the towel... trust us, you will love it!&apos; and they do.Dock &amp; Bay towels are packed full of features which are simply down to how they are made. We can guarantee that they are quick-dry, super absorbent, smooth against the skin, sand-free (it brushes right off!), compact for travel and easy to care for.But don&apos;t take it from us, you&apos;ll probably think we are biased. Do these towels actually dry you?

Most share the same recycled fabric; Home Collection is a thicker waffle for extra absorbency.

Absolutely nothing! &#x2026;.ok, not quite nothing, but they are all pretty similar! Our stripy range (so Cabana, Summer and Design towels) and the Essential towels are all made from the same material, 100 recycled and planet-friendly! The Home Collection, including some Hair Wraps, feels a little different to the rest of our towels as it is a thicker waffle material to give them a little more weight and absorbency for the bathroom (close your eyes and you&#x2019;ll feel like you&#x2019;re at a D&amp;B Spa&#x1F9D6;&#x200D;&#x2640;&#xFE0F;). And of course, you can use the beach towel in your bathroom and your bath towel on the beach, they both have the same great features that makes them a great asset anywhere you are &#x2728; Our magic cooling towels are infused with jade stone to keep you cool for up to 6hrs (even through those sweaty workouts!). All of our terrific towels are sand-free, they are quick drying, super-absorbent, they won&apos;t hold on to any nasty odours and they pack down into a cute compact pouch for travel. All of our Beach Towels, Bath Towels, Hair Wraps and Ponchos feel super soft and smooth against the skin, and no, they don&apos;t feel like the microfibre cloths you might have in your cleaning cupboard.

What is the difference between your towels?

It&apos;s difficult to correlate the poncho sizes to traditional women&apos;s or men&apos;s sizing as these are designed to be a little baggy; that way you can change underneath them! What size poncho should I order?

After a few cool washes, you can wash up to 60°C with stain-lifting powder for tougher marks.

Stains can always be tough on white but after a few cool washes, our towels are able to be washed on a higher heat up to 60 degrees. That, coupled with a good stain lifting powder, should leave your towels sparkling. &#x2728;&#x1F308; If you&#x2019;re really struggling with getting sunscreen stains or any other product stains out, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the product for help..

My towel is stained, what can I do?

Wash cold (≤30°C), avoid softener/bleach, air-dry when possible; pouches are hand-wash only.

The essentials for taking care of your Dock &amp; Bay are: - Cold machine wash (under 30 degrees). After the first few washes it&apos;s ok to turn up the heat.- The pouches are hand wash only and should not go in the washing machine.- Don&apos;t mix your white shirt or dress with a coloured towels (or coloured anything), it can lead to tears! We also recommend not washing our stripy towels and block colour towels in the same wash. Just to be on the safe side!- Try not to use fabric softener, as over time it can reduce the absorbency of the towel. Using fabric softener will not destroy your towel the first time it is used, but over time, it can degrade the performance of your product, and we want it to last as long as possible for you!- Do not bleach, or put near fire or hot implements including towel heaters and radiators.- Tumble drying is ok if you need to, but air-drying is kinder to your Dock &amp; Bay.

Designed in London; manufactured with audited partners in China (Sedex/Amfori BSCI).

Our products are designed in-house in our London head office, by our amazing design team (with a lot of opinions from the rest of the team!) and manufactured by our awesome team in China! Our two founders, Andy &amp; Ben, visit the factories at least once a year and have strong relationships with the teams over there. They ensure all factories we work with have up to date ethical audits to maintain working standards and are audited annually by Sedex and Amfori BSCI.

Where are your products designed and made?

No—regular third-party testing confirms no harmful Azo Dyes.

No. All of our products are regularly tested for harmful Azo Dyes through Intertek testing.

Do your products contain any harmful chemicals?

Regular ethical audits via Sedex and Amfori BSCI help ensure standards are maintained.

All our factories have to complete regular ethical audits to ensure working standards are maintained. These are often done through both Sedex and Amfori BSCI.

The cost is added to your item total and ranges from &#xA3;8 for initials (up to 3 characters) and &#xA3;10 for up to 12 characters (including spaces). Please note that all personalisation will be printed in upper case only. Please note that we do not tolerate any expletives or offensive language on personalised products and we have the right to refuse personalisation and cancel the order at our discretion Personalisation will increase your dispatch time for your whole order by up to 8 days, with shipping time on top so be sure to order well in advance if you need your order for a particular date.
